In Season 20, you will only be able to create banners (if you have a support legend), ammo, medkits, or shield batteries. Instead of gathering materials for crafting, each player will be able to create only one item from each replicator, at which point the machine will be locked for the rest of the match. No more crafting six medkits to become the tank of the area.

In addition to removing currency and altering the economy of ammo and healing, the replicators will instantly cook your items. By choosing one of the four options, you will see a brief animation before the item is presented to be collected. At first glance, it seems like a simple change, but think about the impact this has on the game. Healing items and ammo are now limited resources.

You will have to think about what you are carrying and how much you will need for the next fight, and maybe even the one after that. Replicators will not become such a common meeting point for third parties, as players can loot and move, and they will no longer be the safety anchor they once were when you were stuck behind the zone. *Written by Kirk McKeand for GLHF*

Next season will change the way replicators work, focusing on healing items to speed up the pace of the game.
